How we work at Trafilex
At Trafilex we want to be as clear as possible with our clients, so that you know from the outset how we work and what you will find along the way. Therefore, here it is a breakdown of the steps to follow after suffering a traffic accident and claiming compensation for an accident.
1. ACCIDENT
The client suffers a traffic accident. From that moment, he/she has the following deadlines: 72 hours to go to the emergency room, 7 days to report the accident to the insurance company, 15 days to start treatment at the clinic.
2. CONTACT WITH TRAFILEX
As soon as the accident occurs, the client contacts Trafilex as soon as possible. We will then make an appointment by telephone on 951 441 309 or by e-mail at info@trafilex.com.
3. ASSIGNMENT FORM AND NAMING OF LAWYERS
Once we meet and study the case with the client and decides to work with Trafilex: You will have to sign two documents: the engagement form for the contracting of the service and the naming of lawyers. Sending the naming of lawyers to the companies involved to notify that a private lawyer will be handling the case.
4. MEDICAL TREATMENT OF THE CLIENT
The injured person goes to the appropriate clinic (the one closest to his or her home). Treatment begins, whose duration will depend on the severity of the injuries. It is possible that the doctor of the company responsible for the accident may wish to meet with the injured person, in which case this will be done through Trafilex.
5. END OF TREATMENT. TRAFILEX RECEIVES THE ALL-CLEAR REPORTS
Trafilex collects the documentation on which the claim is based: medical reports, bus or taxi tickets, invoices for documents, broken or lost objects in the accident, salary or income for loss of earnings, etc. and the claim is made. IMPORTANT: The company has 3 months from the receipt of the claim to send us an offer or reply.
6. OUT-OF-COURT SETTLEMENT.
During these 3 months an attempt is made to reach an agreement with the company. If so, successful case. The CLIENT COLLECTS THE INDEMNIFICATION, and Trafilex the commission of the it. At this point the legal DSA is claimed and the file is closed. IMPORTANT: Trafilex is committed to amicable settlement, for speed and lower cost, as long as they do not harm the interests of our client.
7. THE JUDICIAL ROUTE
Once the 3 month period has elapsed (not before, as this is prohibited by law), it is possible that we may have to go to court, mainly for 3 reasons: A. The company refuses to pay the compensation B. The company does not respond C. The company pays but not the amount we want to claim.
